Position Summary:

2020 + Compusoft is looking for a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to help manage and improve its multilingual global web presence, support digital marketing campaigns, improve our customers’ overall experience and help build recognition and awareness for our solutions around the globe. This is a hands-on position that will support paid search campaigns, as well as other search and display marketing engines.

The SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the marketing team to maximize return on investment, drive traffic, and generate qualified leads.

This position is ideally suited for candidates with energy and enthusiasm who are ready to take the next step up in responsibility with a chance to make a real impact with their ideas and creativity. This position will directly report to the Digital Marketing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute tests, collect, and analyze data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI
  • (return on investment) in paid search campaigns.
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC (Pay Per
  • Click) initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and SQR optimization.
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
  • Research and create plans to improve organic search results.
  • Measure and report on organic search results.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3+ years of PPC experience, specifically Google AdWords.
  • Proven SEM experience in implementing and managing successful PPC and other online marketing campaigns primarily on Google AdWords.
  • Knowledge of automated bid management tools and service providers.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of Search Engine Algorithms.
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports.
  • Experience with Data Studio dashboards (creating & maintaining).
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Working knowledge of HTML & CSS is an asset.
  • Basic graphic design experience a plus.
  • Possibility to work remotely.
